Anna Hastings is the project manager for East Sussex County Council’s and it’s partners £4.4million Blue Heart project under DEFRA’s £150m Flood and Coastal Resilience Innovation Programme. The project is seeking to demonstrate how practical innovative actions can work to improve resilience to flooding and coastal erosion.
Anna has worked at the LLFA since 2020 and was responsible for designing the Blue Heart project from idea, to bid through to delivery. Her previous role being in consultancy specialising in hydraulic modelling, flood risk assessments, property flood resilience, local and national policy.
