Charlotte Lenton is a fourth year PhD student undertaking multidisciplinary research as part of the Horizon CDT at the University of Nottingham.

She is currently engaged on a three month fully funded policy internship at Senedd Research, in the Environment and Transport team. Senedd Research is the Welsh Parliament’s research, analysis and information service and is designed to meet the needs of Members of the Senedd and their staff. Senedd Research acknowledges the parliamentary fellowship provided to Charlotte by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) which enabled her article, “Mobility as a Service: Where transport meets technology”, to be completed.

Charlotte’s research interests include exploring digital inclusivity, accessibility in the rail industry, and issues of social justice.

She also works as an Associate Lecturer at the University of Lincoln International Business School and the University of Nottingham.
