Claire Hepher-Davies is Senior Development Manager – Public Realm at The Crown Estate. She leads the delivery of public realm developments across the London Estate, including the interim Regent Street Public Realm project, and the ongoing design development of the permanent Regent Street, Haymarket & Piccadilly Circus Public Realm scheme in partnership with Westminster City Council. Claire also led the vision setting stage of this transformational project, which is set to become a new world class green link for London between Regent’s Park and St James’s Park.
With a 10-year background as a chartered town planner, Claire takes a strategic masterplan approach to the curation of thriving places for people. She has delivered a breadth of major developments through the UK planning system, from mixed use urban regeneration and large-scale housing, to green belt appeals and nationally significant infrastructure projects.
She’s held various committee roles at The Royal Town Planning Institute and Westminster Property Association over the past 15 years, and has made concerted efforts to further female representation and fresh thinking in a more inclusive and sustainable industry.
A keen explorer and creative, Claire enjoys travelling the globe with her husband and daughter, dabbling in interior design, visiting art galleries, and drawing and painting.
