Clare Ablett is the Curator of Transport and Industry at the Ulster Transport Museum. Her role involves looking after numerous collections that reflect the development and growth of local industries and modes of transport across the island of Ireland. The main areas within transport cover road vehicles including horse-drawn, aviation, maritime and rail engines. She has curated several exhibitions at the Ulster Transport Museum, the most recent being Celtic Wave, an exhibition looking at the history of surfing in Ireland. She has also been the curatorial lead on one of the largest museum transport storage moves in the UK.
