Edna Kimenju is a sustainability practitioner who builds bridges between businesses, people and the environment by providing support on sustainability issues and sustainability best practices to businesses that wish to integrate sustainability in their day-to-day operations.

She currently works as a consultant at KCIC Consulting Limited in Nairobi, Kenya where they provide customised climate change and sustainability advisory solutions on aspects of strategy development and implementation support, reporting and measurement, sustainable finance, and climate change advisory.

With a MSc in Sustainability & Business from the University of Leeds, UK, Edna is equipped with organizational change development skills that strive to deliver sustainability through corporates as well as an advanced understanding of sustainability-related issues and cases. In addition, over 2 years’ experience in the environmental sector at Kenya Forest Service has exposed her to environmental problems and how to tackle those through spatial data led solutions. She has amassed commercial acumen from her Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification coupled with the voluntary experience acquired spearheading a community program in Kenya that aims to expand entrepreneurs’ knowledge on effectively running a business.

Specialties include sustainability reporting, sustainability strategy development, design thinking, business model generation, MSME development, project documentation, and designing training programs.
