Kate Gifford leads West Yorkshire Combined Authority’s work on future mobility and Active Travel within the Transport Policy team. Kate has been at the Combined Authority since 2018 and has worked in transport policy for twenty years. She has previously worked in consultancy and at charity CoMo UK promoting shared transport.
Kate’s role includes leading development of the Shared Transport Strategy (a daughter document of the new LTP) and development of projects on DRT and car clubs. She is also leading business case development for funded projects on mobility hubs and active travel.
Kate is currently undertaking an apprenticeship in Leadership and Management (accredited through ILM) and is a Board member at CoMo UK.
