Kevin Toye is an Advanced Solutions Manager within the Transport Strategy Innovation team at Transport for Greater Manchester. The role of the innovation team is to review new business models and solutions. The innovation team are currently engaged in delivering a significant programme of EU and Innovate UK funded projects, alongside business as usual activity covering a diverse topic base including: Connected Autonomous Vehicles, Mobility as a Service, New Mobility, On-Demand Mobility, Smart Cities, Big Data, Intelligent Mobility, etc.
Kevin has been involved throughout the review of the existing electric vehicle charging infrastructure network (GMEV) in GM, including defining the strategy, attracting funding to the network, the procurement approach and detailed specification for procuring a supplier. Kevin has previously worked as a transport planner in the private sector at Aecom and for the public sector at Liverpool City Council and Bolton Council and has experience in strategy development, funding bids and programme and project management.
