Philip has worked in the Parking Industry for over fifteen years on the London local authority side and presently works as Head of Parking & Infrastructure for the London Borough of Barnet. Since March 2020 he has also been the lead for Town Centres COVID-19 response and recovery overseeing the initial activity to make town centres secure and since then a range of capital investments to support the vitality and regeneration of town centres. The role of parking was destined to change in line with technology but Philip feels that COVID-19 may have accelerated this trend and we may now be post ‘peak-parking’.
