Seamus is a senior officer with over 30 years of Local Government experience in London Boroughs and in-depth knowledge across public realm and environmental services. As Head of Commercial Operations and Development at Lewisham Council, Seamus is responsible for managing markets, parking, commercial waste, environmental enforcement and garden waste, with an annual budget of £17m.
Throughout his career, he has overseen a number of large capital projects. As an engineer, he has worked on the Limehouse link, major infrastructure in Docklands and assisted in the development of the successful Columbia Road Market. He was a senior project manager in the multi-million pound refurbishment in Stratford town centre. He has led on successful development of the Ridley Road Market and Broadway Market in Hackney. He has received a national recognition as part of a team for MJ Environmental services winner in 2013.
