Living Streets is the UK charity for everyday walking. Their ambition is to get people of all generations to enjoy the benefits that this simple act brings and to ensure all our streets are fit for walking. Zoë is a Project Coordinator at Living Streets currently working on the Walk to School Outreach project, funded by Active Travel England.
Zoë works with Local Authorities, Active Partnerships, school staff, pupils and families in Essex, Oxfordshire, West Berkshire and Wiltshire, exploring ways to create positive behaviour change and modal shift from cars to active journeys to schools. Zoë supports school staff to run WOW- the walk to school project for primary schools with the aim to support physical and mental health, improve road safety, cut congestion, and promote better air quality around schools. Zoë is passionate about supporting families to walk to school and creating healthy lifelong habits.
