Transport for the North (TfN)
We are England’s first Sub-national Transport Body. We were formed to transform the transport system across the North of England, providing the infrastructure needed to drive economic growth. As a partnership, we bring the North’s 20 local transport authorities and business leaders together with Network Rail, Highways England, and HS2 Ltd, and work with Central Government.
Transport for West Midlands (TfWM)
Transport is a key area the Mayor of the West Midlands, Andy Street, has powers and is a lead influence over on behalf of the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA). As a result Transport for West Midlands (TfWM) has been set up as part of the WMCA to co-ordinate investment to improve the region’s transport infrastructure and create a fully integrated, safe and secure network. It is also responsible for assessing and planning the region’s future transport needs so the network can meet the demands of businesses and a growing population.

In December 2024, established UK headquartered businesses EPM Bus Solutions, Omnibus Solutions, and 3Squared rebranded to Velociti Solutions and integrated operations, to better serve the bus and rail industry with innovative digital solutions and specialist consultancy services focussed on operational efficiency, safety and customer service excellence. With deep sector knowledge gained over the past 30 years, Velociti are trusted by transport authorities, bus operators and rail operators worldwide.
Delivery Mates
Every journey completed by petrol-guzzling delivery vehicles pollutes the air with harmful emissions and undue noise. This not only harms the environment but affects the health and happiness of our communities. Delivery Mates was launched to change the way businesses transport their goods in the final-mile. Deploying walker couriers, bicycle couriers, electric bikes, e-cargo bikes, electric vans and scooters, their mission is to make sustainable express delivery the norm.
Freight Transport Association (FTA)
FTA are one of the biggest business groups in the UK, supporting, shaping and standing up for efficient logistics. We are the only organisation in the UK that represents all of logistics, with members from the road, rail, sea and air industries, as well as the buyers of freight services such as retailers and manufacturers whose businesses depend on the efficient movement of goods.
