See.Sense creates cycling tech products that make cycling safer, and that engage our community to share powerful data insights to improve conditions for cycling. We produce consumer products including intelligent and connected bike lights and theft tracking devices and we also provide a fleet options for bike manufacturers and operators. Our products generate a comprehensive cycling data set reflective of the cyclists’ experience. Applying patented sensor technology and advanced connectivity solutions, our products generate near-real-time sensor data insights into the experience of the rider – including geo-spatial located data on popular routes, speed, dwell time, origin-destination (grouped by output area or similar), collisions, swerving and heavy braking, road surface conditions, in -app cyclist surveys and disaggregate profile data (gender/age/ebike- non-ebike). These anonymised insights are provided to cities and partners, with user-friendly dashboards to support decision-making and analysis. Projects are easily deployed to specific user groups, overcoming bias often seen in crowdsourced data.
See.Sense is the Winner of numerous awards including Digital Catapult’s Platinum Award, and our solution is rapidly being adopted by cities including Dublin, Manchester, Antwerp, Singapore, Oxford and the City of London, who wish to accelerate cycle infrastructure planning with evidence-based decision-making. Additionally, businesses including Amazon AWS work with us to highlight cycling and active travel benefits, as well as wider corporate social responsibility objectives. We are now extending our offer to work with public bike share operators and other bike fleet operators, having recently secured a contract with UK’s largest e-bike share scheme operator.
