Southeastern Railway

Profile

Southeastern runs train services into London from Kent and East Sussex, operating some 2016 trains a day, carrying more than 640,000 passengers each weekday, serving 180 stations and covering 1,094 miles of railway infrastructure. We operate one of the busiest networks in the country including the UK’s first domestic high speed service with Javelin trains.

Southeastern is operated by Govia, a joint venture between leading transport operators Go-Ahead (65%) and Keolis (35%). Go-Ahead Group plc is one of the UK’s leading providers of passenger transport services operating in the bus, rail and aviation services sectors. Keolis is a French-based operator of transport services in 13 countries worldwide and is owned by SNCF, AXA Private Equity, Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, and Keolis management.

We provide high quality, customer-friendly digital channels for journey planning, ticket sales, travel information and on-train Wi Fi. Our smart ticketing product, The Key, unlocks the benefits of paperless travel.
