Last Wednesday, at TRANSPORT Smart Class, South West England & Wales 2018, we were delighted to welcome back Videalert’s Tim Daniels and Imperial’s James Trotter. Tim and James reminded our audience in Bristol of the significant health and productivity costs associated with air pollution in our cities and towns and, in the context of DEFRA strategy and funding to 2020, case studied Southampton’s Itchen bridge, the main eastern artery into the city, to help demonstrate that the move towards managing air quality can be achieved by utilising proven technologies in a way that will make a very real difference to citizens quality of life.
