Further to last week’s Government announcements, the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and the Meetings Industry Association (MIA) have re-confirmed that from October 1st face-to-face business meetings and events are permitted to resume in England for a maximum of 30 participants in a Covid-Secure environment, at venues following official health guidelines.

We’re excited to confirm that TRANSPORT Smart Class, London & South East England 2020 will be hosted in London on Tuesday October 13th, possibly the first Transport and Mobility sector event to return in physical format!

Attendance is free of charge to those with relevant credentials, but with over half the delegate places already allocated we recommend that you REGISTER TODAY to avoid disappointment. Remember, only 30 people can be accommodated at this edition (compared to around 50 at a regular Smart Class).

We’ve recently conducted a site inspection and our venue – The Barn at Greencoat Place (located just around the corner from the DfT and 5 mins walk from Victoria Station) – has assured us that all of the necessary precautions are in place. These include temperature checks on arrival; extra sanitiser dispensers on tables and throughout the building; enhanced cleaning schedules with extra staff constantly disinfecting high volume areas; multiple laminated posters in place in all public areas emphasising the importance of personal hygiene and hand-washing; public areas marked to assist visitors adhering to social distancing regulations; venue staff with access to PPE and fully trained on revised health and safety measures etc. With regards to catering (breakfast, teas/coffees and lunch are included), table service will replace self-service at this Smart Class.

EVENT TIMES & LOCATION:
Date: Tuesday, 13th October 2020
Time: 8.30am – 1.30pm
Venue: The Barn at Greencoat Place, 24 Greencoat Place, London SW1P 1RD
