In his opening keynote at WASTE MANAGEMENT Smart Class 2018 last Wednesday, SEPA’s Iain Brockie enlightened us about the innovative tools and techniques being developed and piloted by the EU wide Life SMART Waste Project to understand, tackle and reduce waste crime in our cities and regions; and how they might become mainstreamed to play a key role in better informed decision making and regulation.
