Over the last 5 years Arriva have looked at ways to complement their traditional bus and train networks including city bikes, non-emergency patient transport, electric car hire and much more. Asiya Jelani is the New Product and Business Development Director for Demand Responsive Transport at Arriva UK Bus and responsible for the creation and launch of their latest market shaping product, ArrivaClick, described as a “game changer” for the bus industry. In the last year she’s led the team at Arriva to mobilise two complex mobilisations, winning three industry acclaimed awards for innovation.

Last month Asiya joined us at TRANSPORT Smart Class Midlands 2019 to explain how Arriva is developing a DRT strategy that strengthens the spine of public transport and uses digital innovation to initiate behavioural change in customers to modal shift.
