Smart Classes is delighted to have been selected as a 2019 partner for Digital Leaders Week, the most inspirational week in the UK’s Digital Transformation calendar. Running from 17-21 June, Digital Leaders Week celebrates, showcases, shares and inspires the best of digital across the public, private and non-profit sectors. Now in its third year, it is doubling in size again with 230 events and over 15,000 free places. The events range from conferences to face-to-face meet ups, workshops, and online streams and webinars.
TRANSPORT Smart Class, North of England 2019 is an official Digital Leaders Week event and will be hosted on Thursday 20th June, from 8.30am-1.30pm, at the Open Data Institute’s innovation space in Leeds (ODI Leeds – The Gather, Munro House, Duke Street, Leeds LS9 8AG).
This collaborative, half day, knowledge exchange event will show key buyer side stakeholders how they can deploy the latest digital technology-enabled solutions, data-driven strategies and best practices to help overcome transport and mobility challenges faced by burgeoning smart city-regions of the Northern Powerhouse and beyond. The Smart Class will feature:
- Inspirational keynotes from Transport for the North (TfN), Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) and Leeds City Council on “Improving the Public Transport Customer Proposition with Smarter Data”, “Developing an Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Network” and “Using Smart Roads to Keep Leeds Moving”.
- Rapid fire thought leadership presentations from up to 5 smart transport innovators (Clearview Intelligence, Imperial, Videalert and Vivacity Labs already confirmed) representing priority innovation topics ranging from “How Journey Time Monitoring is Evolving with Crowdsourced Data” to “How to Effectively Manage and Enforce CAZs and LEZs Using Virtual Permits and Digital ANPR”.
- Deeper-dive roundtable consultations with speakers and senior stakeholders to hone your smart strategies and help address some of your specific transport and mobility challenges.
