Ten days have passed since we hosted TRANSPORT Smart Class, Scotland 2018 at the Radisson Blu Glasgow. Here’s what some of the stakeholders in attendance had to say:

“The morning was very good! The speakers were excellent and the roundtable speed dating style discussion sessions were also really useful” – City of Edinburgh Council • “An excellent event with a range of interesting subjects covered. The half day format is ideal”, Strathclyde Partnership for Transport • “Thanks again for organising the excellent event last week – the mix of speakers and delegates was absolutely superb, and the talks were incredibly informative all round” – Perth & Kinross Council • “A very useful session”, CalMac Ferries • “An enjoyable event and we had several very interesting discussions. It sounds like we might get some concrete outcomes in the near future”, UBDC/University of Glasgow • “Thanks for organising a very interesting event”, Stagecoach UK Bus

Transport Smart Classes show key buyer side stakeholders how they can deploy the latest digital technology-enabled solutions and best practices to tackle their transport sector challenges (e.g. around congestion, traffic flows, air pollution and emissions, noise, first and last mile mobility, customer experience, cost effectiveness, connecting transport networks, managing and maintaining assets & infrastructure) and deliver a transport system that will allow passengers to travel efficiently, safely and with minimal impact on the environment. Qualifying delegates include commissioning, procurement, trialling and partnering leads, senior influencers and strategic decision makers from progressive city, borough, district and county councils; public and private transport operators/service providers; sub-regional transport bodies, combined authorities, integrated transport authorities and passenger transport executives; DfT and supporting national transport agencies; fleet operators and vehicle manufacturers; prime contractors etc. If you’d like to secure a free delegate place at one of the editions above (subject to satisfying our registration criteria) please complete the registration form at the bottom of the appropriate event page (North of England 2019 event/registration page should be active shortly).

If you’re a Smart Transport innovator, or if your company sources or advises on digital technology-enabled solutions and best practices that play a key role in helping buyer side stakeholders across UK city-regions to address their transport and mobility challenges, please ask about our Transport Smart Class sponsorship packages, which enable your speaker to deliver a unique thought leadership presentation and your team of experts to host a series of deeper-dive roundtable consultations with the delegates: enquiries@smartclasses.co
