“A really good event – really useful. The format of these events really allows us to build meaningful networks across sectors” /“Really enjoyed popping over to beautiful Glasgow yesterday to talk at Smart Classes. We talked about how the (draft) SEStran Regional Transport Strategy takes aim at the big challenges of car dependency, transport poverty, integrating modes and connecting communities. It was great to talk about common issues with partners from all sectors and I learnt a lot from the other speakers…also great to catch up with so many colleagues from across the country” – Senior Partnership Manager and Strategy Manager, The South East of Scotland Transport Partnership • “Excellent insights into smart solutions for sustainable transport, a “don’t miss” event when it comes to your region” – Ticketing Commercial Team Leader, Strathclyde Partnership for Transport • “Really enjoyed the event, congratulations on curating an excellent line-up of speakers and sponsors. The best conference event I have attended in a long time, perhaps since Dundee (2019 edition)! Keep up the excellent work and I hope you have a successful programme of events in 2023” – Policy Advisor, Transform Scotland • “A great event – relaxed, informal, lots of time for networking and all of the roundtables added value” – Principal Mobility Planner, Sustrans •“Excellent organisation, event experience, facilities and venue” – Head of UK and EU Relations, Transport Scotland • “Thank you for an extremely useful, informative and valuable session. Keynotes did an excellent job in setting the scene and comparison of National Planning Framework 4 and the Regional Transport Strategy spatial analysis has really got me thinking about the practical application of transport/land-use integration…a great day all round!” – Lead Consultant – Local Transport Strategy, Fife Council
“Thanks for arranging such a successful event” – Transportation Manager, North Lanarkshire Council • “Excellent event, very well put together and very worthwhile!” – Sustainability Officer, Lothian Buses • “Very useful session for me as well as my colleagues” – Insight Lead (Spatial), Stagecoach Group • “Great day, thank you. Our in-depth categorisation of footway parking levels was one of the first studies to help councils better understand where enforcement and monitoring will be required” – Project Centre, part of Marston Holdings (Innovation Sponsor) • “Enjoyed presenting on behalf of Clearview Intelligence at the Transport Smart Class event in Glasgow today. We shared the unexpected consequences of developing our sustainability strategy, including focusing our approach to innovation. Put simply…if it’s not contributing to VisionZero and NetZero, we shouldn’t be doing it. Lovely to catch up with old colleagues and friends and meet some new contacts. Great event, very well organised and run, and great attendees to get exposure to” – Head of Client Strategy & Sustainability, Clearview Intelligence (Innovation Sponsor)
