We believe flexible, shared transport is the future. Our mission is to enable the shift away from single-occupancy car journeys by delivering smart, reliable alternatives through demand responsive transport and commuter services.

We work with local councils, schools, business parks, and universities to help move people better—combining operational strength with purpose-built technology to make every journey more efficient, accessible, and sustainable.

Our story

WeMove was founded in 2019 in response to the growing need for more inclusive and accessible transport. The impact of lockdown highlighted how isolated many communities had become—especially in rural areas. We set out to build flexible, modern transport solutions that help people move freely, wherever they are.

Building on early momentum, WeMove began expanding beyond the Midlands—launching services like Village Connect in Buckinghamshire, followed by DRT schemes in East and West Sussex. This phase marked the start of our national rollout, as we refined and productised our model to support more local authorities and clients across the UK.

As demand grew, WeMove scaled into larger, more complex services—including the launch of Westlink and Tiger On-Demand, two of the UK’s most ambitious DRT schemes. Alongside operational growth, we expanded our product offering—building dedicated platforms like DrivenConnect for vehicle and service orchestration, and DrivenPeople for high-quality driver supply. This phase marked a shift from regional delivery to full-scale mobility infrastructure.

WeMove is now live in the UK, Germany, and the Middle East—supporting a growing number of transport networks with technology-enabled, high-quality services. As we expand, our focus remains clear: to help more operators and authorities deliver efficient, cost-effective, and connected mobility for the people they serve. We’re building the future of shared transport—one smart journey at a time.
