Stephen Sprott is a Data and Innovation Project Manager at Glasgow City Council. He works within the Strategic Innovation & Technology Team which has a corporate remit to support the better use of data and digital solutions to tackle Council and city challenges.
Stephen has a specific role in promoting open data and using data analytics to generate insights that can be used to inform decision making. Stephen’s team have extensive experience in working with data around city ‘mobility’ themes – including road traffic, active travel modes, footfall and public transport. This experience includes working with city traffic engineers to enhance the collection, use and understanding of data.
