Carol is Senior Project Manager in the Connected Neighbourhoods Directorate within Sustrans. Her role is primarily concerned with transforming the school run, putting active travel at the heart of new developments, and integrating active travel and public transport
Carol has spent her career in the Third Sector, with a focus on empowering communities to actively participate and influence the planning system, neighbourhood management, neighbourhood planning, and local government. She has worked for voluntary umbrella organisations and national organisations, including the Royal Town Planning Institute. At Sustrans she has led community engagement in active travel initiatives in the Liverpool City Region.
