Giles Lipscombe is a Principal Consultant in Integrated Transport Planning’s Nottingham office, working in transport data and modelling. His main interests are transport decarbonisation and improving air quality, particularly where these goals can be achieved through greater investment in public transport.
Giles developed the Carbon Calculator component of ITP’s TripSwitch travel planning programme. This was built around the government’s greenhouse gas reporting methodology for companies and other large organisations, allowing our clients to use the carbon savings in their greenhouse gas reporting.
His other work includes e-bus performance modelling and GHG & air quality emissions modelling – especially the role of non-exhaust emissions and what they mean for air quality once our vehicle fleets have been electrified.
