Swetha is a Senior Urban Designer with eight years of experience, majorly in neighbourhood development and the public sector. She holds an architectural background with a master’s in urban design. Swetha worked as a consultant for two years on smart cities development in Tamil Nadu, India, before joining Project Centre. Her journey with Project Centre spans over five years, during which she has worked on a diverse range of projects. These include high-level urban design strategies for existing town centres, public realm improvements for Low Traffic Neighbourhoods, and the redevelopment of urban markets and high streets regeneration.
Her key role involves project design coordination, development, and the integration of sustainable features in design and implementation. She collaborates closely with various disciplines such as flood and water management, highways and traffic as well as clients, community, and stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive outcome for proposed schemes. Swetha has certification in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design and is a Neighbourhood Development Accredited Professional with a strong focus on sustainability.
