Jonah is Partnerships Manager for the North East and Cumbria within Sustrans. His role is primarily concerned with engaging key contacts and communicating with a range of partners across the North as well as diversifying Sustrans’ funding base.
Jonah has worked in a number of different areas, from Sure Start early years and extended schools provision, to employment and skills programme management, regeneration and place making, transport strategy and active travel. This has provided him with extensive experience across local government and the charity sector, allowing him to see policy development and delivery from within local government structures and trying to influence from the outside.
